Garbage Posters
This is a three poster series using one environmental message and interpreting it in three completely different ways. As a design history project, all posters are inspired by specific designers and/or design styles.
The first poster, inspired by Jamie Reid and Punk style, is a highly contrasted black and white photo where I included the word "garbage" within the garbage.
Next is the Futurist inspired poster which embraces the the motion and industrial design style of that era. The word "garbage" in this poster moves away from the viewer challenging them to question “where does it go?”
For the third poster, inspired by Stefan Sagmeister, I wanted to mold the garbage into the message. The garbage, quite literally, does the questioning.
