Nutz Sack
This project was an opportunity for me to incorporate my experience working with patterning and fabrics with packaging and typography. For this redesign project the challenge was to completely rethink the packaging for a very simple and plain product such as peanuts. Inspired by the chalk bag that rock climbers use this Nutz Sack (humor intended) clips directly to a back pack strap for easy access without having to hold the bag. It is also earth friendly in that it is washable and reusable and lined with vinyl for easy cleaning. I made all elements by hand from patterning the bag, sewing, stenciling, to the design of the hang tag.
